You Are the Lord God Who Enabled Moses

Dear Lord,

You are the Lord God who enabled Moses. You backed him up with proof so that the people would believe and be saved. It was you who gave Moses miraculous powers. It was you who gave him authority to press on, not only before the pharaoh, but before your people as well. The miracles were given to encourage faith. Even Moses felt inadequate, but he believed you. You caused him to overcome his human weakness. You said to him, “I will help you speak and teach you what to say.” Lord, sometimes we get afraid too, but we can rely on your committed Word to us. Often we hesitate and wish that someone could take over a task assigned to us. Moses set aside his fear and responded to your call.

Matthew 10:20 says “For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks ‘in’ you.” Also, in 2 Samuel 23:2 it says “The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me (the voice of the prophet) and His word was on my tongue.” 2 Peter 1:21 says “Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” Pharaoh chose not to believe the man of God and hardened his heart.

Lord, those who choose not to believe are hardened and refuse to respond, as we are viewing leaders in the world events today. Sonship has made radical changes in the lives of men and women who believe and know that faith in God has freed us. As sons of God, we have direct access to you through Christ Jesus (Yeshua) our Savior.

By your Holy Spirit we are no longer in bondage. We are no longer powerless. Philippians 4:13 says “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us and empowers us from within.” Lord, often things may get worse, but we can count on things getting better when we rely on you. We know that only you know the timing that is best for our advantage. This is why we come before you in prayer, bearing our hearts. We trust you and thank you for faith. With your help we can do anything.

If this blessed you, please pass it on.

All praise and glory to God forever, from Ida
